Bluegrass music along with Swedish folk music and jazz forms Eriks free-ranging style of mandolin playing. Together with the band G2 he has traveled throughout Europe and the US many times. G2 has released three albums and the latter 'Mind Over Matter' was recorded in Nashville in 2014. Erik loves to expand on his musical awareness in different genres and right now has a jazz duo together with the highly acclaimed guitar player Emil Ernebro. Erik has made music with a  variety of Swedish artists and musicians throughout the years. To mention a few... Tomas Andersson Wij, Sofia Karlsson, Daniel Lemma, Bo Kaspers Orkester, Frida Öhrn, Linda Lampenius. And he has also worked as a studio musician on a variety of different albums throughout the years.

Erik has also worked as an instructor on mandolin for the Academy of music and drama in Gothenburg.
